Our Under 14s squad is coached by Chris Roycroft-Davis, a qualified RFU coach.  New players are always welcome.

We train every Sunday morning from 9.45 to 12 on the club pitches @ Shaftesbury playing fields in Grimsdyke Road, Hatch End.

If you are new to the game of rugby, you can always ‘pop’ down on Wednesday @6pm for a rugby ‘clinic’ run by Steve George to bring you upto playing speed!

Sunday 30th September

Pinner Abbots 0, Ruislip B 83

The combined Pinner and Hillingdon Abbots Under 14 emerged from their first league match ever with their heads held high. The scoreline didn’t do justice to the huge amount of work they put in and the referee paid them a great compliment at the end when he congratulated every member of the squad for the way they kept on fighting until the final whistle.

Ruislip were strong, fast opposition who scored virtually all of their many tries from length-of-the-pitch solo runs. Pinner’s pack played exceptionally well at the scrums and lineouts but were often beaten back by powerful rucking by Ruislip.

There were some outstanding try-stopping tackles from several players, including Michael at full back and Matt  at fly half. In the pack, Toby, Jake and Tom worked really hard and Toby was justifiably chosen as man of the match.

At centre, James had a superb game with several great runs and a couple of crunching tackles. Pinner got close to scoring on three occasions but just couldn’t get the ball to the line for the tries they deserved.
